SERVICE TERMS
BridgeTax LA provides tax-return preparation and ITIN application assistance within the scope confirmed for each order. General information on this website is not a substitute for an individual assessment of your circumstances. This site does not provide immigration or legal representation.
BEFORE PURCHASE
We confirm the tax year, income types, forms, federal/state returns, filing or mailing method, service price and expected timing in writing before payment. The listed income counts guide package selection but do not establish suitability by themselves. Work outside the agreed scope requires a separate written agreement before any additional charge; no extra service is added automatically.
PACKAGE PRICES
Basic tax filing: USD $59 for 1–2 income sources, subject to scope confirmation. Standard tax filing: USD $99 for 3 or more income sources, subject to scope confirmation. ITIN application assistance plus one tax year's filing: USD $199 total. The included year's filing does not incur an additional $59 or $99 fee.
WORK AUTHORIZATION AND DELIVERY
Payment does not mean a return has been filed, filing authorization has been signed, or an ITIN has been approved. We begin substantive work only after the agreed prerequisites and your authorization. You must provide accurate information, review the prepared documents and provide required signatures. We remain responsible for performing the services we agreed to provide; customer review does not excuse errors in our work. Completion and timing depend on the agreed scope, needed information, client responses and the applicable submission process.
GOVERNMENT OUTCOMES
The IRS and relevant agencies decide eligibility, acceptance, tax-refund amounts and processing times. We do not guarantee an ITIN, a tax-refund amount or a government decision date. This does not remove our obligation to provide the agreed services or address our errors. Document review is not a claim that we are authorized to authenticate identity documents.
PAYMENTS, COMMUNICATION AND DOCUMENTS
Use only payment links reached from this website or provided by BridgeTax LA after scope confirmation. Use your consultation email so we can match your order. Do not send SSNs, passport images, bank details or tax documents through the public consultation form, the payment page or ordinary email. Wait for instructions specific to your case. Payment information is processed by Stripe; Google services support this site and consultation forms.
YOUR RIGHTS AND POLICY CHANGES
The cancellation policy below forms part of these terms. It does not limit statutory rights or remedies for duplicate billing, errors or failure to deliver agreed services. We do not apply a new fee schedule retroactively to orders that did not accept it. Changes to a booked scope require agreement rather than a silent website update.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS — FULL POLICY
Cancel before work begins
If we receive your cancellation request before we begin substantive work you have authorized, we will refund the full amount paid for that service. We will not deduct a cancellation fee or payment-processing fee.
When work begins
Work begins when, with your authorization, we actually perform agreed professional services—for example, reviewing tax information, calculating taxes, preparing a tax return, or preparing ITIN application materials.
Payment alone does not start the service. Creating an order, sending an automated confirmation or document checklist, or simply receiving uploaded files does not, by itself, count as substantive work.
Before starting, we will confirm the service scope, fee basis, and start arrangements with you in writing. We will keep dated records of the work performed.
Cancel while work is in progress
You may cancel a service that is underway. We will retain only the fees attributable to authorized work actually completed before we receive your cancellation request, and refund the fees for unfinished work.
Any deduction must be supported by both the stage-fee schedule below, disclosed and accepted before payment, and records of the work performed. We will not introduce a new hourly rate, stage price, or flat cancellation percentage after you request cancellation. Starting work does not automatically make the entire payment nonrefundable.
We will provide an itemized explanation showing completed work, the agreed fee basis, the amount paid, any prior refund, and the refund due. Retained service fees will not exceed the service fees paid for that order. Work newly performed after receipt of your cancellation request will not increase the cancellation deduction.
Fixed stage fees: Basic and Standard tax filing
All amounts are in US dollars (USD). These fees allocate the existing package price; they are not extra charges. Each stage is counted once. The amounts in this table are incremental, not cumulative.
Fully completed stage — Share of package price — Basic $59 — Standard $99
1. Substantive information review and delivery of a personalized review summary — 20% — $11.80 — $19.80
2. Preparation and secure delivery of the complete draft tax return for client review — 60% — $35.40 — $59.40
3. Completion of the agreed filing and final handoff — 20% — $11.80 — $19.80
Total — 100% — $59.00 — $99.00
Stage 1 requires an actual review of the information needed for the order and delivery of a personalized findings or issues summary. Merely opening files, having insufficient information for a substantive review, sending a generic checklist, or providing a general pre-purchase consultation does not complete the stage.
Stage 2 requires a complete, reviewable draft containing the agreed return content and calculations, delivered through a secure channel. Blank forms, basic data entry, and incomplete working drafts do not qualify.
Stage 3 requires the necessary client authorization, completion of the filing method agreed in writing before payment, and delivery of final copies and corresponding submission records. E-filing requires an acceptance record; mailing requires a mailing record. Simply clicking send, receiving a submission rejection, or delivering a draft does not complete this stage. Where the pre-payment written scope expressly provides for client self-mailing, this stage instead requires delivery of the final signable, mail-ready package and specific mailing instructions. A provider-filed service cannot be changed to client self-mailing at cancellation merely to treat it as complete.
For example, canceling a $99 Standard package after Stage 1 is complete results in $19.80 retained and $79.20 refunded. If both review and the complete draft are finished but the final stage is not, the total retained is $79.20 and the refund is $19.80.
Partially completed stages
A stage that is not fully completed, or whose required deliverable has not been provided, is charged at $0. We do not estimate a subjective completion percentage within that stage or add hourly, cancellation, or payment-processing fees. This client-favorable stage rule makes cancellation calculations verifiable.
For an ordinary cancellation, the current refund is the amount paid minus completed-stage fees and any previous refund. There is no duplicate refund and no new card charge arising from this calculation. The final stage can be counted only when all prerequisite stages and the agreed final-stage work are complete.
This schedule applies only to orders for which it was disclosed and accepted before payment. It is not applied retroactively to earlier orders that did not accept it. The billing-error, nonperformance, and statutory-rights exceptions below take precedence.
After the agreed service is complete
Fees for completed services are not refundable solely because you change your mind. Completion means that we have performed the services described in your written scope of work. Payment, initial preparation, or completion of only one part of a package does not establish completion of the whole service.
The change-of-mind restriction does not apply to duplicate charges, billing errors, errors in our work, or failure to provide services as agreed. We will review those issues and arrange an appropriate correction, partial refund, or full refund based on the circumstances and applicable law. This policy does not limit your statutory rights.
The ITIN package
The USD $199 package includes ITIN application assistance and tax-filing services for one tax year. There is no additional $59 or $99 filing fee for that included year.
The ITIN package uses its own allocation below. Basic or Standard stage fees are not added on top. These are incremental stage fees, not cumulative amounts.
Fully completed stage — Share of $199 package — Stage fee
1. Substantive information and applicability review, with a personalized summary delivered — 20% — $39.80
2. W-7 draft and supporting-document checklist prepared and securely delivered for client review — 30% — $59.70
3. Complete draft tax return for one tax year prepared and securely delivered for client review — 30% — $59.70
4. Completion of the agreed application/return submission and final handoff — 20% — $39.80
Total — 100% — $199.00
Stages 2 and 3 are assessed separately and may be performed in either order. Beginning one does not complete the entire package. Stage 4 requires completion of the first three stages and the application/return submission or delivery requirements agreed in writing before payment, including the final materials and corresponding records. Payment, a W-7 draft alone, or work on the return alone does not meet that requirement.
For example, completed review and W-7 preparation, with the tax-return stage unfinished, results in $99.50 retained and $99.50 refunded. If review and both complete drafts are finished but the final submission/handoff stage is not, $159.20 is retained and $39.80 is refunded.
Information review is not official authentication of identity documents. These stage fees do not guarantee ITIN approval, a tax-refund amount, or government processing times. We remain responsible for the agreed services, subject to the exceptions above for nonperformance and work errors.
Requesting cancellation or a refund
Email info@bridgetaxla.com with the subject “Cancellation / Refund Request.” Include your name, the email used for your order, the service purchased, and your order reference if available.
